Support for research: ethics, funding, publication and collaboration.
The Research Centre supports the university's research activity rather than carrying it out: it reviews proposals for ethical approval, advises on funding calls, and helps academics through submission and publication.
It maintains the record of what the university has published, which is what the Research pages list, and it coordinates the conferences, workshops and seminars the colleges run.
Collaboration with another institution goes through the centre together with the International Relations Office, so that an agreement is in place before the work starts.
